"They could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot." - Carl Sagan
Humanity fights over so many things, land, rights, friendships, money, power, justice, the list keeps going. We fight for what is dearest to us or for something that will help us survive. We fight for what's on a small pale blue dot. So many people were sacrificed for a momentary ruler in what seems like a lifetime for us, but really is just the tiniest moment in all the time that the universe existed. People fight everyday, sometimes it is for something we love, sometimes it is to get something we want and sometimes it's for others. When you think about it we are just like a grain of sand in a vast ocean, constantly carried by the currents of time so quickly, but for us, it feels like we move ever so slightly. People die every day, to us that means something just like our pale blue dot. Every life form in history has lived and died for a brief moment in time on a small dot named Earth but it is more then a dot to us. It is our birth place and rest place. It is home.

If I could take home one piece of art I saw yesterday, it would be "Tree Trunk" by Emily Carr. I choose it because I love all the colours and shapes. I also love how simple it is and how it's an abstract painting. My mom also loves paintings, it would be a great gift for her.
The one thing I would change in my life is my shyness. I don't have a lot of friends because I'm to shy to talk and don't have a lot of confidence. It's been that way my entire life. But I want to make an effort. I want to have more good times with people. I want to be more confident in front of people, Then I'll have more experiences in life and have the courage to try so many new things and be my self more often,
